If The Devil Had A Wife by Frank Mills: NOOKbook Cover

Okay, so I am from Southeast Texas.  So, usually all books that are written about my area of the country I am interested in.  So, when my mom told me about this true story about a family in Orange, Texas I was curious.  The book is about the Lutcher family and their family money.  But, the book is also about something more.  It's about the deceit of a wife in the family and the slow take over of everything the Lutcher family has.

So what did I think?  I think maybe I found the book more interesting than it actually was because I am from the area.  I have heard of the family.  So, I like the conspiracy idea.  But even for me, the book was a little long and a little confusing.  I had to read things again to make sure I was understanding correctly.  In the end, I think the book was mostly about a family that is bitter about the money and history they have lost.  So, the big question....should you read it?  If you like a conspiracy story? Sure. But I would not call it a must read on any level.  Probably not.

I'll be back in a day or two with a a new book!  And yes, I really am reading them cover to cover.

LATER!
